I have attended several showcase events over the years. I have worked many and have attended just to see my players and others that I have heard about. Last August my son an 08 attended a PG showcase event. I was very impressed with the way the event was run. There was one on one instruction and feedback from the staff constantly during the three days of the showcase. Several times I saw the staff take a player to the side and offer advice on hitting pitching and fielding. The evaluation process was outstanding. The bottom line is your son will see how he stacks up with other top level players and will get an honest evaluation of his skills and what he needs to work on to get better. People will spend 300 dollars on a bat and 200 on a glove. The cost of these events is minimal when you take into account the benefits in my opinion. Your son is going to have to attend a showcase sooner or later. Wether its trying out for the State Games or showcaseing for a college coach at a camp etc. Learning how this process works and getting their feet wet at an early age will be a huge benefit to them down the road. I strongly encourage you to check them out and give it a try. They are a first class group and the staff is outstanding. I mention this now because the HS season will soon be over and now is the time to start thinking about the summer and fall schedule. By the way I have no affiliation with PG other than my son attending one last year. I feel compelled to tell others about the great experience that I feel PG will be for your son.
