Perfect Game Showcases...how an individual can participate?

I wanted to get my son evaluated at a Perfect Game showcase as an individual player (catcher). His current team (16U) will not be playing in any of the Perfect Game tournaments. It seems like all of the showcase options for individuals in the Perfect Game world are all in either Florida or Iowa. Are there any options for an individual player from Pennsylvania to get a Perfect Game evaluation/ranking without having to fly somewhere? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you in eastern PA? Last summer Perfect Game hosted two showcases in New Jersey; the Sunshine Northeast in early June and the Mid Atlantic late in August. Neither one is listed on their web site yet, but I think the Sunshine will be 6/1-2 in Mercer County.

Thanks. I will keep my eye on their website and look for those events. Are they by "invitation" only? How does one get "invited" to these types of events? Does a simple recommendation from a high school or travel coach suffice? How selective are the "invitation" events in reality?

I don't think there are any special qualifications required. Just follow the "Request and Invitation" link once it's available.
