Today, my son was selected to Varsity at Pickerington North HS in Ohio.
After 2 labrum surgeries in December of '08 and one in November of '07 he has come full circle after gut wrenching rehab and his positive outlook it has finally paid off. He is a Sophomore and although the coaches have never truly seen him play they have seen his bat and are giving him the benefit of the doubt as they said he has a "Varsity Bat" they still need to see him prove himself in the field.
I am just so proud of the way he has handled the cards he was dealt and how he persevered through it all. It goes to show you what hard work will get you!
