Personal loss at Cowley County CC | High School Baseball Web

It is with a deeply saddened heart that I pass on this information.

Cowley County Community College Head Coach Dave Burrough's ( Arkansas City, Kansas) son Derek, passed away February 14th.

Our deepest heart felt prayers go out to the Burroughs family and to the Cowley County CC baseball team.

This is sad... Coach B is such a stalwart among baseball coaches. Some of his more famous players are Travis Heffner (Cleveland Indians) and Junior Spivey (Diamondbacks, not sure who's he's with right now)...
