CNN and the Associated Press have just announced that Andy Pettite has acknowledged that he used HGH in attempting to recover from an elbow injury and has apologized for this error in judgment.

Assuming the report is correct I say congratulations to Mr. Pettite for his honesty and best wishes to him this season.

I wish these players would realize that honesty and resolution of this is the best course for themselves and baseball. I for one don't hope for their punishment or their banishment, just a little integrity.
