I took my son to this showcase two years ago when he was a freshman. It was held at University of Maryland. The workouts were held at another field and the games were played at U Of MD. If you're not familiar with PG, everyone runs the 60, outfielders field balls from RF and throw to 3B and home. All infielders take grounders from SS and 1B take grounders and throw to 3B. Catchers do pop times. All throws for all positions are gunned. Then everyone takes BP with a wood bat. Games were good. My son played a good amount at both his primary and secondary positions. We didn't purchase anything from the Skills Show. Not too many college coaches from what I remember. I think that is because it was an underclass showcase. It might be different since the location has changed, I don't know. Plus I think that was the first time they held a Mid Atlantic Underclass showcase. However, I do think it is a good showcase to start off with and progress to bigger and more competitve ones like the National Underclass, Sunshine East, etc... I hope this helps.
