I'm not sure when they are normally sent out. My 2015 son did not receive an invitation until about a week before the event. Keep in mind though, there were some unusual circumstances involving him.
This one event accelerated his recruitment tremendously but everyone's mileage will vary.
As the event gets closer there is usually a button on the PG website under specific showcases that states "Request an invite", or "Get an Invite"
As seen here for the upcoming pitcher/catcher showcase:

Nothing after 6/15 seems to be allowing you to "get an invite", perhaps you are just too early?
Invitations will start going out next week. You might be able to request an invite, but that will not guarantee a spot.
For anyone interested, please check out the link below. Be sure to scroll down and it will give you an idea of the talent that attends this event every year. It has had more first round picks than any other event in baseball.

Hoping that the Sunshine Northeast showcase on June 6-7 opens up for invitation requests soon.
Looking at the pitcher/catcher indoor showcase for PG in February I clicked on the "Request an Invite" to look at what information needed to be filled out.
How does information entered determinge who gets an official invite? The "Describe players playing ability" section is very subjective, especially if the parent is filling it out.
Son received an invitation to the National Underclass in December but could not attend because of a schedule conflict. If I had it to do over, I would have let him go to the PG event. Does this past invite have any bearing on his chances of getting invited to this year's events for 2016s? Thanks.
We have been to several PG showcases with our sons and found them to be very well run and exceedingly helpful in the recruiting process. Our son was hoping to be invited to this particular one to face some really excellent competition. I asked when invites go out as we are trying to make some summer plans. He got his invite today and is looking forward to attending.

PG Staff my answer this for you, but the big invite-only event for your 2016 would be the 2015 National Showcase in Ft Myers (6/17-22). Just getting an invite is a pretty big deal. (Congratulations, nothingtodust.)
As far as the impact of him not attending the National Underclass, I would say it would have been an opportunity to get a PG evaluation, so it certainly could have a bearing on an invite to the National. However, if he's a top national prospect, chances are they will know and invite him.
Thanks for the information. I was under the impression that the December event was invite-only as well as my 2016 had a very good year at PG Tournaments, cracked the PG National rankings (not super high, but Top-1000), and the invite was different than the usual PG Showcase invites we have received in the past. I appear to have been mistaken and I appreciate the clarifying responses, guys.
