Someone mentioned on here a few months ago that the Area Code Games are not quite what they use to be. I was wondering if there were about the same number of scouts as there are at the PG National, if anyone has some recent experience.
We averaged 300 scouts at one location for 17 years.
The player should play for the learning experience not "exposure".
At the AC games a hitter faces 12-14 different pitchers, several who he may see later in college or pro baseball. A good hitter will remember if he focus.
Both are premier invitation only events. Go if you are invited or make one of the final AC teams. It's not like you can go out and count X number of scouts at one or the other and say this one is better.
