I knew going in with the level of talent in 2007 class this event would be great but it exceeded my expectations. The level of pitching was incredible and combine that with talented hitters made for some great matchups. One that comes to mind was Josh Smoker versus John Tolisano. What a great weekend of baseball! PG really put together a great event.

How about Michael Main?? Did he show up?? Smile
Keep hearing he hoovers around triple digits...Anybody see him throw at PG National?
Have heard Bumgarner's name a lot also. Does anybody have any names to share with us that are top 2007s. The baseball world thanks you in advance. Wished I could be there but heard PG Cross-checker boss, ALAN SIMPSON, is all over it from four different angles in videotaping segments Peace, Shep
Went to event highlight was defenitely pitching 90+ was the average. Micheal through low end 94 and high of 96 but it was still impressive to watch. Kid named Ditreich SS from Ohio hit some bombs in BP. The rest I think had a tough time with the pitching their very little hits given up in all the games played. Perfect game did a great job with this event first class big scout and college coach turn out.
This event had an unbelievable amount of talent on the field for every game. From what I heard Main was at 98-100 depending on which radar gun you looked at. Burgess and Narzarro hit a couple of bombs against the 30 mph wind which were very impressive. Pitching overall seemed to rule with the use of wooden bats and all the 90+ fastballs.

Now you wouldn't be sandbagging about Maine's velocity would ya'? Illinirock's report is what I'm hearing from everybody else. Wink98-100MPH

Anyway, wished I coulda' been there from what I'm hearing, must have been a GREAT EVENT, as usual, for the upstanding service that Perfect Game and Staff offer. Wow!! I'm a believer in what they do and have been since inception thereof. Strongly recommend any HS prospect here to take advantage of PG's great service if you're planning on baseball after HS.

This was without a doubt the best weekend of baseball I have ever seen. My son played and I watched almost every inning of every game. The pitching versus hitting match ups were incredible. PG put on a first class event in every way, the facilities at the University of Arkansas are terrific and they opened their doors for the kids {let kids use cages and hitting stations including balls}. For those parents of younger kids if you are fortunate enough to be invited this is one event you do not want to miss.
