They are ranked as high follows.  In other words exactly the same ranking. Thus they would have the same National ranking at their position.  Also the same state ranking if they are from the same state. In the example above it means there are 26 LHP's in Texas that we have ranked higher. All the high follows are lumped together and ranked above all the follows.  Then all of the follows are ranked the same.

 

Obviously these players are not exactly the same, but it is the best way to keep track of everyone. Many mistakes would be made if we actually placed an exact number/ranking on every player.

27 who are ranked higher.  But no telling how many are ranked the same?

Actually we know how many are ranked 27. I just don't know the answer right now.  It would be every LHP that is ranked high follow in Texas. So it wouldn't be a very large number because most LHP's wouldn't be ranked that high.

I found 20 Texas LHP ranked 27th and  listed as High Follows. I would then assume that  everyone in that group would rank somewhere between 28-48 in Texas. Do you agree?
