Hi!
New to the site but been reading quite a long time. Wanted to find out if PG ever holds showcases in Canada? We would be interested in having our son evaluated.
He is going into his 2nd year of pitching. 3rd playing baseball.
He is 13...will be 14 in July.
He is playing his 1st year in AAA ball.
We have absolutely no idea how he 'measures up' to other kids his age here, in Canada, in the USA. Would like to find out from unbiased people and thought maybe a PG showcase would be a good place to start. I hear only good things about them. What age do you suggest these kinds of showcases?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your info.
That's too bad about PG. Guess if and when the time is right...we'll have to go to them!
Anybody else of the calibre of PG run showcases up here? It's funny that they don't come up to Toronto even once a year. Oh well. : (

given the talent up here it is surprising they dont have a PG north showcase.

Glad to see they are finally coming up here for a showcase. It will be interesting to see what the cost to attend will be.

I wonder why they chose Guelph to hold it also.

PG is expensive so yes it will be interesting to see the cost. Pearson park is where they hold the youth tryouts as well - the set up of the diamonds is good for this kind of event.

I've never been to Pearson Park before, thanks for sharing.

I would of thought they would of tried to do it at St. Mary's. That would of been a great venue for it and some excellent exposure for what Tom Valcke has been trying to build up there for years.
