Not quite sure how to phrase this question - or if it will make sense - but if a high school player lives in the Northeast and wants to (ideally) play somewhere "warm" in the South or out West, would they have to attend PG events in both of those regions to be exposed to scouts & recruiters in both regions? Or would PG information from one region carry over to another region, as well?
Does that make sense?

PG Staff should weigh in but I am sure the information carries over from one region to another. It all get centralized on their website which coaches/scouts subscribe to.
I appreciate the feedback. Trying to plan for next summer (after Sophomore year) as to whether son needs to attend PG events out West if he wants chance to attend college out there... or if PG events in the South will suffice for all regions. Thanks again!
So others can disagree if they have seen otherwise. My son has been to Atlanta for WWBA three times now and FL at least twice. I don't recall seeing many coaches from schools say west of TX. That has been our experience, so if the goal is truly to play in the west I think you are going to have to target PG events in AZ.
We are in TX. My son gets lots of emails with camp invites, etc. I think I can recall one that he received from a school in CA and maybe one from a school in WA. The more we got into the recruiting the more it was very clear that for the average player it is very regional.
Assume OP was talking about PG showcases, not tournaments. Also, OP mentioned "PG information" which of course gets shared across regions (via the Crosschecker website).
Yep for sure BucsFan I am with you there. Only need to do the closest and easiest PG showcase you can get to.
Unless of course you can snag an invite to the Jr National or National.
