I have two thoughts. First, compare the list of schools that will be attending each event. Go to the event that has more schools that you are interested in, as well as schools you have already reached out to. Second, define what is your goal. Is it to get into the best baseball program or the best academic school with a good baseball team? Having this goal always in mind will save you a lot of time and money.

Whichever event you select, send a note to the coaches (for the schools you are most interested in) to introduce yourself athletically and academically. Make sure the event is not during an NCAA dead period.

Good luck and let me know if I can help.

Although the PG events are a great venue and the most respected and well known showcase events out there, they are not always right for all players. As fenwaysouth points out, you need to define what schools you are interested in, and a lot of that has to do with your ability both as a baseball player and academically.

Both fenwaysouth and I have recently had son's go the more academic route. Personally, my son never attended a PG showcase event, yet had strong interest and committed to a fine academic D1 school by the end of July in his Junior year summer.

If I can help you in any way going forward please let me know.
