What type of scouts made last years event?

He Is RHP 16yr old 10th grader 6'2" 171 lbs, pitcher and a catcher/utility player is this a right fit?
He got an invite for one in June but I don't know if its right for him,or if this Aug one would be better ( if we can get an invite)or should we try to do both or wait for next year when he's 11th grader? .
Will college scouts be at a June event or do the College regionals keep them away?
