I live 20 min north of Seattle. Friday afternoon my dad called from work and said my little brother and his friend wanted to see a Mariner game. I was supposed to referee some select basketball this weekend. My dad said the only day they could go was saturday, and that he couldn't go, so could I take them. On a whim I called my referee assignor to back out of those games I had to ref. So saturday afternoon me, my brother, and 3 friends drove down to Safeco to watch the Mariners game.

I am here to tell you NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL SEE WHEN YOU GO TO A BALLGAME, because I saw a perfect game, live, in front of my own eyes. I will never see that again in my life, and I feel extremely lucky that things fell into place so I could go to that game. What my friends and I saw yesterday is a memory we can share for the rest of our lives.
