1st Base: With runners on 1st and 2nd we'll run a daylight-like play with a RH pitcher. When the call is made, the 3rd baseman will watch the 1st baseman, who is working the baserunner from behind. When the 1st baseman breaks toward the bag, the 3rd baseman drops his glove, indicating to the pitcher to turn and throw. It's a timing play that's worked a few times.

Our best play is in a SAC bunt situation to have the 1st baseman charging hard yelling BUNT! The pitch is thrown off the plate, but not quite a pitchout, and the second baseman sneaks in behind the runner at 1B, receiving the throw from the catcher. It's easily the most effective pick play we have.

2nd Base: Normal daylight play. We'll either signal from the SS to P or have the catcher drop his glove when he sees the SS breaking. Again, timing plays.

Not a pick play so much, but every missed bunt attempt by the offense our catcher snap throws behind the runner. It's amazing how many HS kids don't no what to do when running bases when a bunt is attempted.
