Lebanon - I don't know if you've been there before or not. Pikeville is a hike as they say.... not an easy place to get to. I would want to inquire about their commitment to their baseball program. Pikeville has held their own in their conference which includes a NAIA world series participant, Campbellsville.
With that said, the new head coach is an absolute stand up guy. Rob Taylor was an assistant many years ago at a school and recruited my son back then. Without a doubt, he was one of my son's favorite coaches. Honest, personable and very "real". I would suspect he would be considered a player's coach and very approachable. I could not imagine him being anything less than honest with any player. From the conversations I had with him way back when, I'd recommend any player talk with him.
I suggest you investigate, but do ask questions about the program and plans in general at Pikeville. Good luck!
