It is important to get a good conditioning program and follow it. Tubing ,Plyo, weights running and Long toss. 3 times week may be enough for some but not even close for my liking.
Your mechanics should be checked by someone who knows. Many teams will pull guys in from the field to pitch and this is just plain risky.
Go to the library or buy a good pitching book with a good conditioning program in it. Read it until you understand what you have to do and what you have to do.
Throw long toss into a back stop if you can't get a partner. Talk to guys at a ball game and see if you can find someone who wants to throw more than they are. Maybe a coach will help you hook up with program or a guy who needs to throw more. Maybe your new HS will let you work out with the summer team even if it is a lower level.
The problem is that I just moved and my last high school didnt even have a team. So the last time I Played ball was 10th grade and I just graduated. I still have talent I know that just from how I've done in the first few games I've played. Im trying out for my community college in the fall and I just want to be ready by then so thanks for your advice. I know my mechanics and everything because I grew up pitching and 2 of my coaches were atually ex minor leaguers and some of the best baseball people i have ever met. Thank you for your response though. And what you said is pretty much what I'm trying to do it's just really difficult to find all the resources by myself you know.
