What is the rule on coming set. In the OBR book it says "set position as defined in Rule 8.01(b) without interruption and in one continuous motion." Does that mean if a pitcher is in the stretch does he have to bring his feet and his hands together at the same time or can he bring his feet together and then his hands. No hesitation is taking place.

As long as something is moving continuously you can stop different body parts at different times in the set. On the other side of the coin, everything has to stop completely before pitching.
You will see guys move their feet and stop while their hands are still moving. Then just before they stop their hands they start their feet for the pitch. This a balk.
