Hello all!

 

My name is Tyler, I am new to the forum but I wanted to share with you an idea I have been working on. Before I begin, I'd like to give you a bit of background on myself. I pitched competitively up until 2012 (high school & showcase teams) but suffered an arm injury that caused me to miss my junior year summer season and thus was strongly looked at by the colleges I was hoping to play for. After my senior year I decided to hang up my cleats and pursue a degree in engineering.

 

Although I may no longer be in the game, I'd like to spread my knowledge of pitching and arm health to others. I am currently creating an app that helps coaches manage their pitchers, track their stats, and ensure arm health. Along with providing individual pitching statistics for each pitcher, the app calculates the number of rest days a pitcher should take after an outing based on their age and the number of pitches thrown. Short videos of different warm-ups, strengthening exercises, and post-outting exercises will be included in the app as well.
