Hey Guys,
My pitching coach and I had this discussion for 20 minutes last night. He insists that a pitcher has to be able to drag his back foot slightly when he is following through. I have always been under the impression that the pitcher "swings' his back leg. In the past, I have taught my pitchers to follow through and bring their back leg over top of a bucket or bag of balls. He said the problem with this is the pitchers will start falling forward instead of using their hips and legs. What do you guys think???
