PENALTIES for a., b., and c.—

(2) If a catch is made with illegal equipment, the offensive team has the choice of taking the play or having the play voided with the pitch being made again (see 8-6-b).
Agreed.. and it seems difficult for the average guy to access rules, at least NFHS - can't find them posted anywhere except to buy from their site and you have to buy two to meet minimum order. Any idea why that is? Are they posted somewhere?

Lastly, I'm not sure I'm reading the 12" length limit rule correctly. I know of several players that use longer gloves for OF and 1B and I know that every manufacturer of gloves makes gloves and 1b mitts 12 1/2" and bigger that are marketed to baseball (not softball). Is this rule typically enforced? Am I reading this right?

Thanks Yawetag,
Below is what I saw from NCAA baseball rule book 2009-2010...
So does this mean you can use a 14" glove in HS and only a 12" glove in college?
