Won't toot the horn of the kids on our own team (James River), but others:

Sean Tierney, Clover Hill, lefty who has been gunned as high as 91.

Tyler Wilson, Midlothian, 87-88 with nasty breaking pitch.

Chris Duty, Monacan, hit 88 last year, expect him to top 90 this year.

Graham Stoneburner, Godwin, a PG Top 100 2-way player -- though I heard a rumor he's hurt?

Jon Broscious, St. Christopher's, committed to Princeton, but will miss most of season with foot injury.

Deck McGuire, Deep Run, upper 80's stuff.

I am sure there are others I'm just not aware of.
Central and Southside VA:

Whitley (GW-Danville)--upper 80's/low 90's. Filthy off speed stuff. Heading to Tech

Jeffress (Halifax)--throwing low 90's in March--hit 98 in summer. Heading to the pros.

Dustin Crouch (Amherst)--upper 80's with plus curve. Heading to JMU.

Chase Vaden (Altavista). LHP mid-80's with great move and off-speed stuff. Heading to LU.

...and a couple from the Valley.

Brooks Cullen (Wilson Memorial). LHP mid-80's. Very polished.

Tyler Truxell (RE Lee). LHP upper 80's. Mixes pitches well. I'd take him over all the above except for Jeffress.

I saw Wooley throw against Battlefield HS last week on a very chilly, blustery day. Two scouts in attendance had his fastball at 87-88, touching 89 and he threw some very sharp 11-5 curves. He doesn't have great size (6-1 or so) but has a nice loose arm and a strong lower half. Definately a good looking prospect.

(Edit: He also showed excellent command.)
