I am a devoted pitcher and I want to know what other positions do in the offseason...i do not think that any position can be as hard as my routine...i wanna see some opinions
I am the Dad of a senior fastpitch softball pitcher and a freshman-to-be lefty baseball pitcher. From my experience here in our area, you are absolutely correct. There are exceptions, of course, but most of the position players get an off-season - but pitchers work year round. Thankfully though they generally have an increased chance at scholly's.
Pitchers may have a year-round defensive workout (pitching mechanics) but position players have a yaer round offensive work routine (the better players).
