Pitching from the stretch in LL | High School Baseball Web

When a LL pitcher is pitching from the stretch (lead off not allowed) is it necessary for them to come to a "set" position as in OBR ? I was watching Rivera last night and w/o runners on it didn't appear he came set.

He's not required to come set in OBR, either:

Rule 8.01(b) Comment: With no runners on base, the pitcher is not required to come to a complete stop when using the Set Position. If, however, in the umpire’s judgment, a pitcher delivers the ball in a deliberate effort to catch the batter off guard, this delivery shall be deemed a quick pitch, for which the penalty is a ball. See Rule 8.05(e) Comment.

Thanks, believe it or not my 9 yo was warned for not coming set. Darn games run two and a half as it is, why add to it
