2008 Coastal Carolina standout and career ERA record holder, Joey Haug, is now an assisant at the University of Richmond and is offering instructions thru Tuckahoe Sports.
Joey was a 5'10", 170 lb. senior when he was named to the Roger Clemens Award watch list, was 1st team all conference pitcher, was voted National PLAYER of the Week for the week of 4/2/08, and was selected to National All-Star Teams by Collegiate Baseball.com for 2 weeks in 2008. Finished ranked #20 (out of over 3000 pitchers) in ERA for D1 2008. If you're looking for someone to show your son how to go from a tiny rural high school to playing for 1 of the top 25 Division 1 colleges in the country, give Joey a call. It can mean alot for your son to see that it doesn't neccessarily take size and left-handedness to become a standout player.
He also played in the Northwoods League and Alaska Baseball League, and did scouting for Diamond Prospects in South Carolina and can share those experiences as well.
