I thought there was some great stuff on that site as you go further in to article after article.

However, I have trouble listening to College coaches talk about over emphasizing. You guys know what we have to work with in High School. I got kids who if I didn't emphasize normal throwing mechanics every day they would soon revert to snowball techniques, and would injure thier arms. So, High School pitchers and mechanics, every day, every detail.

Reminds me of my first convention experience with a College Coach speaker, in a Q & A he said his method of getting kids to throw strikes was to tell them to throw strikes, he said that seemed to work. I then realized we were different creatures, working with different creatures.

Even with that said, I'd never turn down a chance to learn from a College Coach.

Hitting our target has always been around from the first time we dropped a sabertooth from 60 feet with an almost straight spear. Don't know if scap loading was a topic for Ug. Sorry but that is me, simple.

Quality quote right there....
corral is great. he talked about that at clinic. he will get into detail with you on mechanical stuff if you ask. he knows it well - all the different philosophies, what all the gurus are teaching, etc. the guy knows pitching inside out. but he really thinks after years of doing this that simplicity is the best. hit the target.
