Hey everyone I just turned 20 yesterday. I'm a pitcher and I touch 90 but I am very raw and I don't have much mound experience at all and actually often lose velocity once on the mound. I know this is mechanical and I need work off a mound in order to fix that and I plan to, however I think I also need to start working out at the same time because I'm just very undersized, 5'11 175, and pretty out of shape cardiowise. So basically I would like to get into a good throwing program (long toss, mound work, maybe some flat ground if nec.), and also get into a training program at the same time.
So my question is if that is possible to do? or in other words, is that wise to do? and if so, how should I go about doing it? I don't really need advise on the specific kinds of exercises I should do per say, I'm more lost on the scheduling and intensity of the workouts (what day should I throw on, what day long toss, what day workout, what intensity, that kind of thing).
Well I hope that I was clear enough and my question wasn't too long. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
