Hey everyone I just turned 20 yesterday. I'm a pitcher and I touch 90 but I am very raw and I don't have much mound experience at all and actually often lose velocity once on the mound. I know this is mechanical and I need work off a mound in order to fix that and I plan to, however I think I also need to start working out at the same time because I'm just very undersized, 5'11 175, and pretty out of shape cardiowise. So basically I would like to get into a good throwing program (long toss, mound work, maybe some flat ground if nec.), and also get into a training program at the same time.
So my question is if that is possible to do? or in other words, is that wise to do? and if so, how should I go about doing it? I don't really need advise on the specific kinds of exercises I should do per say, I'm more lost on the scheduling and intensity of the workouts (what day should I throw on, what day long toss, what day workout, what intensity, that kind of thing).
Well I hope that I was clear enough and my question wasn't too long. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Hey its me,,,, no one has responded so I'm guessing my request is perhaps a little much? Though I'd still like to weight train a bit, so if you can still give me some advise on an overall schedule that includes throwing and some lifting that would be great, however if anyone can just give me a good throwing program that includes some mound work and long toss that could be a help by itself. Thanks alot, any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not going to attempt to answer this because there are way more qualified people on here then me, and all I know is what we do at my College as far as throwing work and lifting are concerned.

But I do have a question for you, are you playing College ball?

Also give it time for people to come around and answer your question(s)
Hey doc, thanks for the reply. No I don't play college ball right now. I am planning on transferring from the school I am at right now after this fall so to go out for that team there doesn't make sense. I am currently trying to get some exposure, or just a school who wants me but I'm not really sure how to go about it.

Exposure advise?

This is actually another thing I'm trying to figure out hopefully with the help of the great people who use this site.

About the training your team uses, is there any chance you can share that with me? I can use all the information I can get. Once again thanks for the reply.
