I am a huge Coach K fan but it mattered not who won the game--it was just great college basketball
Interesting experience with Coach K---in the early/mid 90's a young man I knew was interested in Duke baseball but had gotten no response to anything he had done--Coach K at that point had sent some intro hoops recruiting stuff to my son-- I called him and told him of the baseball situation---within 10 minutes I had a call from the baseball coach.
Hoops Fun---tomorrow the University of Hartford stages a doubleheader---men vs Brown in the morning and the ladies in the afternoon vs Michigan State---the electricity should be there---if Hartford ladies beat Michigan State they should jump into the Top 25---Michigan State has a 6-9 center--saw her play last nite vs Providence--absolutely dominating if she stays out of foul trouble
Thank goodness for college hoops --it gets me thru the winter

Missing free throws and getting beat off the offensive glass is a recipe for failure. Pitt is a good team. I'm not sure this is an upset at Pitt. It was a good game though. We have a neighbor and a positive role model for my son playing at Duke, so we root for them.
I can watch men's basketball all day long. I can't watch women's basketball. It's more structured. The good teams are very fundamentally sound. But the game is too slow compared to the men's game.

Now that the Gator "studs" have moved on, Florida College Basketball is just NOT that exciting! That was a GREAT game. DIdn't really give Pitt much of a chance at halftime. Coming up for a Georgetown-St. Johns game in Feb. and am really excited about that!
