Plano East is definately one of the top teams in the area to look out for. They have some excellent senior leadership and talent. Derek Bell is one of the senior leaders and has been tearing it up for them. Yesterday he hit a double off the wall and a single against Martin. This kid's swing is absolutly phenomenal. It amazing that he hasnt signed anywhere yet. He's also a pretty good pitcher that should lead east in a tough 9-5A district. Ive been fortunate enough to watch him play for East and in the summer and his love for the game is unmatched. Kid gives 110% on everything he does, something we rarely see anymore. Plano senior and PLano West better watch out for Derek Bell and Plano East. They have all the tools to repeat as district champs.
Anybody else have any thoughts about Plano East?
