I want to tip my hat to the 2009 Plano East Panthers Baseball team. These boys were picked to finish 5th at best. But the Coaches and Players never bought into the rankings and made a 2nd half run that any team would be proud of and finished as the #3 seed in district 8-5A. Then to advance 3 rounds in the playoff was even more impressive.

It should only get better at East as they should be ready to make a deeper run in the 2010 playoffs.

Congrats to 2009 Team from a 2007-2008 Plano East Varsity baseball parent.

Coach Collins has had some great teams at PESH and all he had to do was roll them out and let them play the game. But this year he had to do a lot of teaching and motivating; he should be Coach of the Year in 8-5A. Great job Coach C.
