Had something in there about the bowling team wanting to challenge all comers at the lanes this weekend. P-Daddy and myself had agreed to keep score till we found out the automatic scorers are now being used. That is gonna take an element out of the match that we can't live without.....so we passed!

The automatic scorers eliminate the benefit of knowing "new math" <-- generally good for a few pins in close games. MATH MISTAKES!

So, what kind of person goes on a message board to criticize a kid(s) or the coach? It happens once or twice a season **shrug**. As for me, I think the PE announcer sux!

I understand why people want to be anonymous -- and I understand why they get frustrated. So, these kinds of comments don't generally bother me. I do have a kid that plays and all -- maybe my perspective is warped, but I think I have become more objective over the years. There are many sides to each story.

Swingdoc -- you haven't made the transition to the palm-pilot for baseball scoring?

Seems like only yesterday that I had my "1000th post" cake.

Now that P Dad has become a grand p-dad he is mellowing even more... sigh.......

They could still use a good PA announcer for those matches at the lanes....

Ahh P-Gran-Daddy, we all know you're tougher then the backend of a bowling alley.

The palm pilot is old hat...Its like scratch and sniff ~ once you've done it well......The old school bowling alleys with the greese pencils could be cooked because most newbies didnt understand how to keep score. I bowled 350 to 360 all the time But I graduated from Skyline after 2 years at Samuel and stats weren't that important anyway.
