My son was evaluated using the "Major Collegiate Scale".

What does it all mean?

If he is a 16 year old soph. and receives a grade of 5 (ave.) in a catagory (say running), he must be compared to someone at some level. Whom?

Are they grading him based on all HS soph's playing baseball or all HS soph's that will go on to play baseball in college or all college baseball players presently or what.

If he's 16 and gets a 5 on the Major League scale it means he's pretty darn good at that particular skill.

5 is how the average mleaguer would perform. 8 or 80 would be at the top.

Don't know about the " Major Collegiate Scale"?
