I have a big decision to make and I was hoping that some of you could pary for me that I make the best decision. I am currently a redshirted freshman at an NAIA school, and to be honest, while the coaching at my school is good compared to most places, I actually had better coaching in high school. My high school coach was considered among many as the best baseball coach in the large metropoitan area of where I grew up, and his knowledge and ability to teach the game is just incredible.

Today I just got a call from my high school coach who just told me he got a head coaching job at a DII school. He invited me to transfer there, and I would love to play for him, but I'm also happy at the college that I'm at. So if some of you could pray for me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

the...As you may or may not know, the Big Guy pays special attention to prayers from Chicagoland, because we are required to survive the winters that only polar bears and seals can "love".

With that in mind, please be assured that once I get past St. Peter at the pearly gates, I'll have His ear and the rest will be history.

Don't think twice. MAKE THE MOVE and be happy.
do not know DII rules regarding transfer's
but if you have to sit a year before a trans-
fer I would consider it. the competition lev-
el would be better, and you would feel bet-
ter about playing for a solid coach.
Don't shortchange yourself. you are only
elegible to play 4 years of college baseball.
Take the best opportunity that is presented
you. If you don't I think you will regret it.
Starzz,
It sounds like coach Gerrod is going to replace Phetty at Faith. I know that Phetty really has my best interests at heart, but I don't know if attending there will be possible anymore. The NAIA school I'm at is offering me a great academic scholarship, and where Phetty is going doesn't offer any scholarships to out of state transfer students for academics. They don't offer any baseball scholarships either, so I don't know if my family can afford it. I also talked to my current coach about it, and he's not letting me practice till i make my decision. So ya, things are kinda rough, but I'll figure it out.

GAME2003...sounds like you answered your own question...the prayer seems to be answered. If I were your Dad I think with the info you just stated, I would support you to stay, and thank coach Phat with a call and wish him great success.

Your parents have put alot of work and effort into your success and it has paid off. Faith was a good stretch, I know as I paid the private school route also.

Look deep, but I really think YOU have the answer already.

Good Luck!
