The coach at Polk has been around a long time. He was a minor league manager for the yankees organization for a number of years and also a scout. He was also the head coach at UF a while back (10 years or so). My son will be heading there from Daytona State (Community College) where we believe he will be better developed.
If you are interested in developing from a baseball prospective we believe that this is a good place to be. The team has not been a powerhouse in the past, but should get some attention this year.
Hey TPM, my guy is doing well playing up in Fayetteville. They won the southern conference so I believe they will have a post season berth. He is having the time of his life playing in front of 2-3000 fans every night. Hope all is well with your son!
