Short answer - No.  in fairness I don't watch baseball either, no time. Too many kids. Always gone and watching our own games.  Assuming I had the time...  still no unless I actually knew somebody playing.  Actually going to a high school sectional championship tonight (softball) cause I work at the school and know the kids.

Hell yea, I used to play fast pitch, I have played against several of the guys who you see coaching on TV. Michael White the coach of Oregon was a stud pitcher, a scientist on the mound and is surprising nobody who knew him or played against him with the success he is having there.

That being said it is not a better game and I will be watching despite the constant chanting, hair fixing, that stupid show bunt pull back and swing that so many girls use for reasons unknown to anyone but softball ladies...

One thing that irritates the hell out of me is when pitchers drop the throwing hand down out of the glove, it shows the whole ball to the hitters and grip. They should be able to pick every pitch that is coming.

In all honesty I can't make it through a full inning of watching softball. I have tried several times. I change channels between innings to a wild animal show or something & never come back.

In all fairness, I can only go so deep watching college baseball also. If there was someone I knew playing, it would be totally different. As for MLB, I follow the Nats & can watch an entire game but can't last watching other teams other than Playoff games.

Past two seasons in high school I've been our assistant softball coach.  Not able to coach baseball but I missing it so I hoped it would help fulfill that need.  I can honestly say it was a very good time and I enjoyed every bit of it.  I've been watching some of the games on TV here lately.  Now I can't stand the chants and cheers so I outlawed those but the girls said they were happy with it because they don't like doing them either.  I wonder if that was something that got started long time ago and just persists?  Anyway, it's very similar to baseball in that those who have talent stand out and those that don't have talent stand out as well.  I love both baseball and softball but honestly I love anything that gets kids off the couch and outside.
