My younger brother who is a 2013 just got finished with his first showcase, which was a winter showcase and he threw a pretty good bullpen session. After the entire showcase was over the head coach of the school who was hosting the showcase talked to him and told him that he really enjoyed watching him pitch, to keep working hard, and to stay in touch. I was just wondering what the normal protocol would be for a "follow-up." Should my brother just wait until he goes back to another showcase at that school to say something to the coach or should he just send a quick e-mail to the coach telling him a little bit about himself, and thanking him for the showcase. Just wondering if I am reading too much into the coach's comments or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
