A friend of mine attended there this past fall semester and did not like it at all, we are from maryland so he said they really favor the West Virgina boys and he also didnt like the fact that Keyser, WV has almost nothing to do there. He is transfering to frostburg state in the spring, so he is not actually having a season there. However, my legion team went down there for some games and the field is really nice.

Pot State has a good reputation among MLB scouts in this area. There are a lot of West Virginia High School ballplayers that go there for two years and then go to another school like WVU or Marshall or one of the DII colleges in the West Virginia Conference. The coaches at Potamic focus on baseball and you really don't get a great two year education while there in anything but baseball. There are usually one or two players drafted out of Pot State every year but usually in the low rounds.
