My question is on the subject of power.
How much power should a high school player have to be a power trheat in college. I am thinking in terms of how far that individual can hit the ball, but any other ways to determine or describe power would be fantastic. I have heard that a high schooler needs to consistently hit the ball 400 feet to be a college power threat, but what are your views? ALso, how far does a middle school player need to hit the ball to be a varsity power threat? When I say power, i mean the ability to hit the ball out of the ballpark, but also the ability to consistently deliver the extra base hit.
