D1
20 hours of practice per week, 6 days per week.

(going from memory here, which can be dangerous)
Off Season - 4 hours of team conditioning per week, 2 hours of coach instruction in groups no greater than 4 players, per week.

Someone will have no problem correcting me if I've erred! Big Grin

Ryno,
I sent you info that I beleive that max hours allowed by NCAA is 20 hours a week. I also suggested that you speak to someone at the school. I took the time to look this up for you as best as I could using a google search. You need to take some responsibility and find this out on your own or your son needs to make the calls.

Regardless of D1 or D2 know that any program is a huge commitment, and it's not set in stone how much time an individual player puts in on his own time.

In season takes a lot more of your time than fall. Besides games and travel time, coaches can call practice, then there's workout time.

I also suggested that your son not decide upon a major at this time, he can do that after his first year after he settles in and realizes commitments.
