We just found out that my sons' best friend mom just had a new baby that has some severe health issues. He was life-flighted to Stanford where he is awaiting open heart surgery. Please, when you say your prayers, remember Lane.

well it sounds like Stanford is known for more than just baseball. I hope the OHS went well.
We've been in a similar situation. My prayers and best wishes go out to Lane and his family.
Lane will be in our prayers, and I believe he is in excellent hands at Stanford, I am sure he will recieve the best possible care. Lane, Angels are with you sweet boy, they are helping you get back to prime health. Stay strong.

Update: Baby Lane was sent home yesterday. They have rescheduled his surgery for May 30. He has several holes that need to be repaired and a valve that isn't working correctly but, they think he is well enough to go home and gain some weight. That is good (I think). Anyhow-if you remember him and his family it is much appreciated. I know they have him on all kinds of monitors and Mom and Dad are not getting any sleep (not that newborns let you anyhow) but I think this situation is magnified.
My prayers too for little Lane and mom/dad for good weight gain, stable health, and much support from their loved ones. Do keep us updated please.
Oh wow. It's hard enough to take care of a new born baby who is healthy, I can't imagine taking care of one who isn't. Prayers for good health, love, and support for the entire family.

Quick update--Lane had his surgery today at Stanford. All went well and the many holes have been repaired. He is a strong little guy and things are looking good. Big brother is having a difficult time seeing his brother hooked up with tubes and monitors though. Prayers I'm sure would be welcome!!
