We just received word this morning that our sons baseball coach has been diagnosed with cancer. It is in the lymph nodes around the spleen, liver and pancreas. They will be testing today to see exactly where else it is. He has a 15 year old son & a 13 year old daughter. His wife was "our" team mom and the best at it. They are a true baseball family as well as softball as he coached his daughters softball team too. Please say a little prayer for them.
Thank You all!

Just an update- Coach is not doing very well. He has stage 3 non hodgekins lymphoma (sp). He also now has a colapsed lung and a secondary infection. They did start him on high dose chemo on friday but he is so weak that they made him so sick-his family was called in the middle of the night to return to the hospital because they was little hope he'd make it until morning. The docs give him only 20% chance. I left him a message and reminded him of his saying to the boys, "2 outs -so what" - Please continue your prayers for his kids, his wife, Him and the boys on the team who are taking this hard.
Thank you
Lefty34,

Things dont sound to good from my nurse perspective. But there are always miracles. The night before MAryann died I had a feeling things werent good. Sometimes we have to accept Gods will, whatever that may be and believe me that is a tough thing to do.I will pray for this man , his family, and I will pray that whatever happens God will por his overflowing love to carry them through this. If he makes it out of this, its going to be a tough battle. But there is always HOPE and FAITH. God bless
