I'm sad to say a young man I coached in youth baseball for a few years, at the tender age of 16 has been Diagnosed with brain and spinal cord cancer.
His name is Joe Decesare. Joe plays ball for Garfield HS in Woodbridge, Va. He plays ball but is so much more than just a baseball player. He is a gifted artist and musician, and stellar student.
Joe is one of those kids that never said "boo" or much of anything --Just did what he was asked and was very quiet with a good sense of humor.
