Could all of you please include Royse City High School varsity baseball player Jake Owen and his family in your prayers?
Tuesday night while playing in a varsity game vs. Greenville Jake and another teammate collided while fielding a popup.
He came out of the game and was sent to the hospital to be checked out because he had pain in his spleen area.
The Doctor discovered he had ruptured his spleen and while doing blood work to prepare for surgery they found that he has Leukemia. Jake and his family are still recovering from the loss of his dad in February.
