You should always respond, regardless of whether you'll be there or not. Communicate. This is about more than just this invitation, it's a fundamental skill/value that everyone should have all the time, in all situations.

I often see young adults these days who haven't been taught that it isn't ok to not responed to things, it seems generational. No matter what the situation is, you should always respond and you'll find that you often improve situations when you do.

Good luck in the playoffs...and in the draft!

Congratulations! That is extremely exciting, I know that whenever my guy was invited to one of these we were feeling pretty good!

From our experience the workout itself was very typical of what you would expect. Very much like a PG workout, only with more reps.

Also, be prepared for the scout, or scouts to ask questions trying to guage signability and expectations regarding rounds and money.

If you want to play, just tell them so. I dont see any reasons to beat around the bush or play hard to get. If you are a top rounder then other teams will have you in their sights too.

Dont worry about the money. If you want to play tell them.

Have fun! Enjoy watching from the other side of the fence, and be calm and let your son handle the process. He will fill you in later!

Good Luck!

What should we think about this, if anything?

If your son is good you will get all sorts of business cards handed to you, call up the organization if you are in question about who he is.
