Son was invited to 7 pre draft workouts so far. He has attended 4. Two of them are in major league parks. Is there a difference, as far as interest in the player, in those held on local area fields vs. those that are actually held at the home park?
That's Baseball- Nope. Most of the time, teams choose locations based on what is most geographically convenient for all parties. While a big league stadium may be a bit cushier, scouts are plenty comfortable with evaluating tools in any setting.
