Can someone give me any link or even a very basic throwing program to have a JV baseball player on between now and Feb 18th?

Basketball ends tomorrow, so he is conditioned.
Has been doing resistance bands 3 days a week...
Very minimal throwing in a Sunday evening clinic...

Will be demanding on me to accommodate him M-F; but has to be done

Am thinking M-W-F No more than 20 minutes/max 100 feet first week... 20 minutes 150ft max second week... 20 minutes 200 foot plus max 3rd week... ??

Is this reasonable? Thanks

pitchout31,

My best advice is to do a search on long toss on this site in the Pitching and Throwing forum.  I did this and got a number of hits with specific suggestions depending on position player or pitcher, and age.

If your son has not thrown in a long time, I would cut your distances down a little bit based on your thread above.  I've been doing long toss with my college son and two high schoolers since Christmas break (they're all pitchers).  Please start easy and don't push it too much in the beginning.   Good luck.
