Finally...a topic I know a little about!!!

Jesuit - great pitching (Meinhart is probably who you are asking about pizzathehut - better known here as DTiger) & solid nucleus returning
Mac - returning almost everyone, now with 2-3 years varsity experience, solid pitching (and I hear their catcher is a stud Roll Eyes-yes I know "self promotion)
SGP - good core of returners, will replace several key pitchers
Bell - always reloads strong!!
Trinity - lost almost entire varsity roster to graduation and all pitching
Irving - how do you replace Beaven??
Nimitz - how does the team respond to the resent loss of two players two an accident
Grand Prairie - never know what will happen when you play them on the hill!!

I think this will be a very competetive district, with the games beign fun to watch. Never know what will happen for those who do advance and have to play the 8-5A teams!!
Probably Zach Walker. Lanky, good arm and our back up (if you really want to call him the back up, he and I switch) SS. He was our closer last year and could be the same if not 2nd pitcher this year depending on match ups. With him and another kid I just won't mention because I'm so sneaky, we should have 3 solid pitchers. Just solid. Our success will depend on hitting... Mateo.

And it's Meinhardt... German Wink

Your boy Bemo hit 90-91 on the gun the other day!
He is going to mix in some time at catcher for us when he is not pitching. I have to be careful in the tournaments with him at those positions. But pitching on Tuesday and catching on Friday should not be a problem for him in district play.

DBU wants him to play C/3B for them. He is pretty good behind the plate. I just do not want to take him off of 3B.

The kid in terms of pitching potential, projects out of the roof... would you agree? The problem is for me and this year, I don't want projecting... haha I want results! (I'm not saying that he won't, but I am saying it'd be nice to get his projecting moving along quicker!! Confused yet?)

He projects very nicely...
and I do think you'll see some good results and he'll help you guys quite a bit.

Alright I have to throw in my 2 cents...

Heres how I say they'll land...

Jesuit - Best overall players at just about every position in district.Top guys are going to be Matt Shortall, Kyle Meinhardt, and Kevin Cosgrove.Better pitching than what you see. They have more expierience than the other teams throughout the district. Very interesting baseball talent here.

Irving Macarthur -Returns many solid players. All District catcher John Smart, Pitcher Parker Sheets should lead team. Will have to play good day in and day out to end at 2nd.

LD Bell - All District players Victor Perez, Ryan Zeitz should contribute. Moore(sp?) will be a very good pitcher for them throughout the year. Loss of Tamez will hurt

South Grand Prairie - Young scrap.py team last year. Should scrap their way into playoffs again lead by some younger players

Irving - Yogi Gallegos is very good but not sure he can lead this team to the top.

Irving Nimitz - Had good leadership last year. Hopefully they will be able to turn in a good season.

Grand Prairie - Not quite the days of Kerry Woods brief stint. Look for Hector Moreno to lead team
