Ain't it the truth.  I figured with 37 teams in the tournament from Texas the odds were good.  Guess not.

 

Anyway... what's a good steakhouse to hit while we're down there, 13LHPdad?

 

Papas. Bobs or del friscos.  

 

Also texas land and cattle is a good chain. 

something better than Applebee's?

 

Concur with j87, Bob's Steak and Chop House or Del Friscos.

 

Most mom and pop steak joints are pretty good as well.

Thanks very much for the restaurant list.  It'll keep me busy. 

 

 

My sons team is playing in this tourney.  We are a local team so it's nice to play some different teams this time. We managed to get both games in yesterday but rain cancelled everything for today.  Haven't heard what the adjusted schedule will be.

 

What's your teams name?

 

New York Nine. They went 1-1 yesterday. Lost a tough 9 inning game last night 4-3.

The revised schedule should be out around 10pm tonight. Hopefully we'll all get some games in tomorrow.

Pool play still this morning with bracket starting this evening. Bracket games starting at 9:30pm will be really late as games get extended. Good news is we are having record cool temps and the rain moved out.

 

You find a good steak place?  You have to try some of the Tex-Mex we have.
