From what I've seen so far St. Anne's-Belfield has once again established themselves as one of the premier teams in the state. They have a deep rotation, a strong pen, and have been stroking the ball well, having run-ruled 3 teams already this year. Has anyone else had a chance to see them? Who will rise up and compete with them for the state championship?

You know, I used to think the only reason Steward was doing so well was because of their lower level of competition. But they've played some public school teams and held their own and then some -- performances comparable to the teams you mention. I don't know if they ever play STAB or St. Chris etc., but I think it's time to give Steward their due and recognize that they are to be included in any discussion of the top private school teams.
